Do you ever feel like you just don’t know how you are going to accomplish something you truly want to achieve in your life?
Maybe it feels difficult now. Maybe the odds are stacked up against you. Maybe you just don’t see a path to getting “there” (wherever “there” is for you).
But you really want to manifest it. It’s your biggest desire right now, but it feels so out of reach.
Here’s the one time that I recommend for you to look back in your past and evaluate any time in your life where you succeeded at something. I don’t care what it is – just anything that you accomplished that you are proud of or that you succeeded at against all odds. (I LOVE helping my clients defy the odds – as an ex-corporate Statistician I get such a thrill out of that!!)
You see, when you laser focus on your successes and notice that you have accomplished something in the past, despite how difficult it may have felt then, you activate the vibration of success into your NOW. Then, what you do is follow it up with some juicy self-talk like “If I was able to do that, I can do this too! Anything is possible if I set my mind to it!”
I use this technique all the time when I am looking to achieve a big dream that I have that sometimes seems difficult in the present moment.
I remind myself of the time I lost over 70 lbs and kept it off for over 25 years now.
I also remind myself of the time when I was diagnosed with MS and decided (after initially having the normal reaction anyone would have) that no matter what, I was going to be drug-free one day and healthier than ever! And yes, I manifested that too!
Just for fun, I attached one of my before and after weight loss pictures below – smiling in both of course! 😉
You see, the path to “success” starts with feeling the energy of “success”, before you even experience it.
You’ve got to believe that it is possible, before any ounce of proof shows up that it is going to happen.
There is an unwavering faith that is required here.
When I was diagnosed with MS, I had no clue HOW I was going to get “there” (my “there” being an improved state of health where I didn’t have to take any drugs any more). But I trusted. I believed. I followed my intuition and inner guidance system as to what action steps I should take (including one really big one of moving to the West Coast – clear across the country – because I felt that I would be healthier there.) There were a whole series of events that occurred after making that big move and 2 years after I moved, I was drug free. And have been since – for almost 17 years now!
The mind is a very powerful thing – more powerful than we all realize!!
That’s why I love what I do for a living – because I get to teach my clients how to thrive through adversity just like I have. Overcoming life’s obstacles starts with embracing the right mindset and being deliberate about what we focus on all along the journey.
And you’ve got what it takes to do just that!
Wishing you a Lovin’ Life week!
